Great River Race Livestream Celebration – Race to Close the Opportunity Gap!
September 17 @ 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Wilderness Inquiry, in partnership with the National Park Service, City of Minneapolis, and City of Saint Paul traditionally hosts the Great River Race to Close the Opportunity Gap on the Mississippi River. The big race funds the Canoemobile Minnesota outdoor education program, addressing the achievement gap in our schools and reaching 15,000 youth annually.
September 7th – September 16th
The 10-Day Challenge begins on September 7th and is a race to see who can post the most while getting outside on self-led adventures. Post photos on social media with the hashtag #MNGreatRiverRace of any outdoor activities you do – each post earns a “Paddle Point” for your team! Prizes range from a trip to the Apostle Islands to a free Winnebago RV rental. Enjoy the fresh air, have some fun, and help raise awareness for Wilderness Inquiry’s mission.

Join the livestream celebration on September 17th where we’ll toast your collective achievements with emcee and teller of tales Kevin Kling. This action packed virtual event will be 30 minutes of fun, purpose, impact, and of course an awards ceremony! Don’t be late, or you’ll miss the boat!
